Educational Opportunties

Congregation Beth Shalom provides educational opportunities for our congregational community through many venues for preschoolers, elementary students and teens, and for adults.  We strive to provide stimulating educational programs to benefit all of our congregants and our friends in the community.

Our Hebrew School, a recognized Framework for Excellence School, under the active guidance of Rabbi Michael Beals, Cantor Ruth Ross, and Education Director Morah Dina Lipschultz, embodies the ideals of positive, quality, comprehensive Jewish education. Through a myriad of experiences, both in and out of the classroom, we give our students the tools to be knowledgeable and concerned American Jews. We strive to guide each student in finding a source of significance and enrichment in Jewish living and in an appreciation for Israel and the Jewish community around the world.

At Beth Shalom, learning does not stop at Hebrew School.  We offer a Sunday Morning Brunch Speaker Series, an Adult Mini-Mester, and through the Rabbi Jacob Kraft Educational Foundation, we are able to offer exceptional Jewish learning opportunities... open to the entire community!  Watch our website and our calendar for upcoming dates, times, and places for all these wonderful events just for you.
